I am becoming more and more thankful for modern medicine throughout this pregnancy! Turns out I am going to need a C-Section. At first I was pretty disappointed, but now I am just ready for it to happen. It is scheduled for December 1, so unless I go into labor before then, that will be Cullen's birthday! I am so excited I can barely stand it! Cullen is now measuring in the 60th percentile, and since I am smaller than average, the doctor thinks that a natural birth just isn't going to be possible unless he is early. So modern medicine helped us conceive and now will make it possible for Cullen to be born!
So here is Cullen at 37 weeks:
How 'bout them cheeks! I think he is going to have the Brooks family dimples like his mom! And check out the flexibility! Yes, that is his foot in his face!
This pregnancy has not been without some frustrations. My thyroid is now low, which may explain why Cullen is a little chubby (but who doesn't love a chubby baby?!), my hands hurt like crazy, and I can't seem to sleep past 3 a.m. these days, but all in all I have been feeling better the last month than I have the entire pregnancy.
I just can't believe I get to hold this sweet baby in 2 weeks!!!
oh how precious crystal!! so happy for you!
