Good news!

Today was much better than yesterday! We had an ultrasound, and it looks like everything is going well. Cullen's thyroid looks fine, and he appears to be developing normally. He is in the fiftieth percentile for weight. Hopefully all this means my thyroid issues aren't affecting him.

He is already head down. Our perinatologist says that he will probably stay that way, so that is also reassuring.

Here he is at a little over 30 weeks:

And here I am:

Yes, my face is getting pudgy, but oh well.

This evening David and I had one last meal at Two Rows, which is where we met. The restaurant is closing this weekend. Unfortunately, I couldn't take a tequila shot like I did the day we met, so it wasn't QUITE the same, but we had a great time.

And I am so excited to head to Hallsville tomorrow to catch up with friends!

  1. Crystal,
Betsy and I are very excited for ya'll. We are thinking about ya'll, and hope all is going well. Tell Dave I said hello, and can't wait for a little Dave (Cullen) to be running around!

    Take care!

  2. Oh Crystal, I just found your blog and I have had no idea what all you have been going through these past nine months. You look incredible, beautiful as ever and pregnancy looks amazing on you!

I am exactly as pregnant as you I think, due Dec 17, but we'll induce on the 14th if our little Jeremy hasn't arrived yet-that's your birthday!

I am very sorry to hear about all the stress you have been under these past few months and tests, but so happy to know all is well with your little blessing and you and David. I will be praying all goes well for the next few weeks and look forward to a birth announcement from you ;) He sure looks like a gorgeous little boy from your ultrasound picture-but of course he would be with you as his mommy.

    Love you!
    Crystal Griffin
