Bump Pictures!

David and I decided that since this may be the only time we get to do this, we better make sure we can remember it! That's where Wendi comes in--she helped us make these beautiful memories of our pregnancy. So of course I have to put my plug in for her: http://wendischoffstall.com/blog/

Great Friends Bring Joy in Sadness

Like only great friends can, Kelly, Christina and Meredith brought joy in the midst of our sadness about Larry. On October 9 (I am WAY behind in blogging!), they hosted a fabulous shower. It was so great to see my friends and celebrate this amazing blessing. I can't believe we are getting SO CLOSE to time for our little man!

Thank you so much to the fabulous hosts!!

Everything was beautiful!

Thanks to all the friends and family who have helped us celebrate this exciting time!

Missing Larry

We have had a really rough week. David's dad, Larry, passed away on Tuesday after a long battle with cancer. We are heartbroken and will miss him so much. Larry was such a charmer and made all of our family gatherings fun. He always had a joke to tell... or ten, and even when you were hearing the same joke for the twentieth time, you couldn't help but laugh. That is how we will remember Larry... making us smile and laugh. We will miss him dreadfully, but we are so glad that he is no longer in pain. And we are so thankful that he knew that David would soon be a dad--something that meant so much to him--and that he got to see Lindsay get married. Here's to Larry... you will always be in our hearts.

Good news!

Today was much better than yesterday! We had an ultrasound, and it looks like everything is going well. Cullen's thyroid looks fine, and he appears to be developing normally. He is in the fiftieth percentile for weight. Hopefully all this means my thyroid issues aren't affecting him.

He is already head down. Our perinatologist says that he will probably stay that way, so that is also reassuring.

Here he is at a little over 30 weeks:

And here I am:

Yes, my face is getting pudgy, but oh well.

This evening David and I had one last meal at Two Rows, which is where we met. The restaurant is closing this weekend. Unfortunately, I couldn't take a tequila shot like I did the day we met, so it wasn't QUITE the same, but we had a great time.

And I am so excited to head to Hallsville tomorrow to catch up with friends!
